Community Youth Sports
There are many independent sports organizations in the City of La Habra. While these organizations hold meetings, registration events and games at City facilities, they are NOT City programs. For information about any of these programs or to register for any of these programs, please contact them via the information included below:
AYSO (Soccer)
Founded in 1974, AYSO Region 94 serves the communities of La Habra, Brea & Fullerton. AYSO holds both an open registration league during the fall and a Spring Select League for divisions U-5 through U-19, serving approximately 1,300 children. There are six philosophies under which AYSO operates: everyone plays, balanced teams, open registration, positive coaching, good sportsmanship, and player development. The home field for Region 94 is Imperial Middle School in La Habra.
La Habra Pumas (Soccer)

The La Habra Pumas are a competitive boys' soccer club with teams in the U-9 through U-17 divisions. Their goal is to provide an affordable opportunity for any child that has the desire to play at a competitive level. Pumas play in games and tournaments throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Home games are played at Osornio Park.
Toque Futsal Leagues (Soccer)

Toque Futsal offers leagues for adults (ages 16 years & older) for men, women, coed & veteran. Youth divisions are U7/8, U9/10, U11/12, & U13/14 for boys and girls. The structure is 7+ games guaranteed, 5 vs. 5; rosters 7 player minimum, 10 player maximum, FIFA futsal rules. All games are held at the La Bonita Park Futsal Courts, 1440 W. SoCal Wicked (Softball)

Established in 2003, the Wicked Softball organization has girls softball teams located throughout Southern California, including La Habra, and offers competitive softball for girls who want to play at a higher level. Because many of the participants go on to play at the high school and college levels, SoCal Wicked places a strong emphasis on academic standards and requires that participating players maintain a minimum GPA set by the team.
La Habra Pop Warner (Football & Cheer)

Founded in 1969, La Habra Pop Warner has offered football and cheerleading for children ages five through 15 years. They also have a Challenger program for children with special needs. On average, the organization serves up to 500 children and encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and high academic standards. Their season runs from August to November, with home games played at Esteli Park.
La Habra NJB (Basketball)
La Habra NJB hosts basketball leagues for both boys and girls in grades three through eight who live in La Habra. Practices begin in November, and the season consists of ten games. Each season, NJB donates a portion of each player's registration fee back to the player's school to help support their education, resulting in over 20 schools receiving donations.

Low Income Sponsorship Application
The City of La Habra offers sponsorship opportunities for youth who would like to participate in these sports programs, but because of limited resources, are not able to afford registration. Applicants must meet the federal low income/poverty guidelines listed on the application. A limited amount of funding is available, so requests are filled on a first-come,
